DELPHINE THIERRY
Delphine Thierry is an independent French perfumer whose work is deeply rooted in the character and complexity of raw materials. For D:SOL, she created CISTUS and LÁDANO, bringing a distinctive sensitivity for texture, warmth and natural materials to the collection.
A graduate of ISIPCA, Delphine spent twelve years as a perfumer at IFF and MANE before founding her independent studio, Inspiration Libre, in 2007. Working from her atelier in the Mediterranean landscape near Grasse, she approaches perfumery with the freedom of an artist and the precision of an artisan. Her work on LÁDANO for D:SOL received an Honorable Mention at the 2026 Art and Olfaction Awards in Athens.
THE ALMA COLLECTION
Cistus belongs to the Alma Collection — a series exploring the quieter side of amber fragrances. Rather than opulence, it celebrates warmth, texture and the depth of balsamic materials. Precious resins, refined woods and carefully balanced amber accords give each composition a calm, long-lasting presence.
Named after the Spanish word for "soul", Alma is a collection of fragrances that accompany rather than overwhelm. A quiet warmth that settles into the skin and lingers long after the moment has passed.
